Groundbreaking!!!!

Friday, May 5 was groundbreaking day for the new science facility. President Durden, Provost Weissman, and the principal architect, Dusty Rhoads of ZGF, made short comments and some of the major donors were introduced. The naming scheme was introduced -- the Rector Science Campus will consist of Kaufman, Tome, Althouse, Dana and the new construction. Each of the new "wings" will be named as a hall, with the frontmost hall named Stuart Hall and the second one to be called James Hall. Stuart Hall contains the Stafford Auditorium. The picture is of yours truly, Professors Skelton and Henson, and Associate Provost Chromiak playing with the gold shovels after the ceremony.
